We had a wonderful experience dining at Q de Sac, a restaurant located in the Petit Champlain district in Quebec City. It features a rustic, cozy interior with lively ambiance. This popular resto-pub is known for its Québécois menu featuring wood fired pizzas and meats. We ordered the Shack’s Poutine (fries topped with yummy Perron cheese curds, bacon, homemade foie gras with Coureur des Bois maple whisky and cider sauce), Beef Tartare, Baked Brie and a glass of Caribou (wine-based aperitif). The restaurant is located right in umbrella alley. The smash burger was really good. It had a lot of great flavors. The French onion soup was good but maybe needs a bit more salt (and I don’t usually eat salty food). The cheese was melted nicely and had a good amount of broth.

Had an amazing experience at Q de Sac! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious — the pizza was perfectly baked with a crispy crust, the pasta was rich and full of flavor, and the salad was incredibly fresh and well-balanced. What really made the experience even better was the staff — super friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Great atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. Definitely one of the best spots I’ve tried — highly recommend!

I recently had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant and wanted to share my thoughts. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt warm and inviting. I visited with my baby son, who was in a stroller, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. They even offered to heat up his baby food, which was a thoughtful gesture and made us feel very welcome as a young family. As for the food, everything we tried was excellent.
