We were really looking forward to coming here to check out the bar and all of the nostalgia from Bret's career. Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed overall. There are a decent amount of items from his career what a good majority across the bar are different photos or posters. The main display with his couple wrestling gear and championship belts are the star of the show. We tried one of the rum old fashioned but I'm not exactly sure why that's the thing. It certainly didn't hit like a true old fashioned. We didn't have any food but the menu itself is fairly limited which is to be expect

What an awesome spot! I literally could have spent all day here. This bar is filled with Bret Hart/Wrestling memorabilia over the years. We were in town for a quick trip and knew we needed to stop by. The staff was so amazing. Very friendly and allowed us to walk around/take photo's. Got the steak sandwich (on special on Monday's for $18) and it was cooked perfectly. Some of the best fries around too!!! Got some merch on the way out. Thank you to all the staff at Hitman's Bar!!! 🩷🖤

Well, it started off okay when we got a table. My girlfriend and I stopped in for a quick bite after the Stampede. The bar was fairly empty and there weren’t many tables occupied. Right away, we were only given one menu for the two of us, and our waitress had to come back with a second one. After we ordered our food, that was basically the last time we saw her. When the food arrived, we weren’t given any utensils. We sat there for about five minutes with our food in front of us before another waitress noticed and brought us some. One of the best bars in Calgary, the perfect spot for wrestling fans as well as those going to Saddledome events! I’ve especially received excellent service from Khiana and Tneesha, having very pleasant convos with them! Proud to be a regular even as a non-drinker!
