Walked by this place around 9:30pm, and it looked really authentic, like the small local restaurants in China. We got the River snail noodles (Luo si fen) with less spice and the pig intestines and blood noodles with regular spice. Our noodles came out in about 10 minutes. Broth was both aromatic and nostalgic. As someone who doesnt like to eat spicy foods, the less spicy snail noodles were a good challenging spice level for me. It's a simple place... Only 4 seats. But I had their beef noodle soup with dumplings... Amazing. The portion size is enough that I couldn't finish it! Tomorrow I try the Wonton Noodle Soup! 🍲 Update... The wonton is amazing too! Don't get the wonton noodle soup... You don't need the noodles... It's better without them. I got a side order of the chive dumplings... OMG ... That could be a meal by itself!

Great hole in the wall place. Was a one man show when I was there. Will definitely come back to try the boiled dumplings. Had the pan fried with beef noodle soup combo. Here's my thoughts on some of the other comments I saw for a balanced opinion. "Too vinegary soup" - that's probably from the cabbage from the vegetables in the soup.
