This is a nice place. Kids took me there for my birthday. The Italian sodas are a nice option for non alcoholic beverages - interesting flavours to try, I had the rhubarb. The food came out extremely fast! The portions are a good size, reflective of the price. Would have enjoyed a bit more zest/cheese/flavour to the sauce on the Alfredo but the carbonara had a nicely cooked egg on it. One of the guests had charcuterie it looked amazing, A really good dessert selection, had the flourless chocolate torte and the pavlova.

The food is incredible, the atmosphere is inviting, the music set the tone for the evening perfectly and the overall experience was both relaxing, enjoyable, and delicious! I had the carbonara as well as fry bread for the main course, the beetroot salad for a starter and the spruce-tip lemonade and by far one of the best meals I’ve had to date. Excellent quality, portion size and aesthetic, and will absolutely be returning. While on the pricier side for some (myself included) it is worth every penny!

We’ve been coming here for years, but we were kind of disappointed with our last visit. Seems like the quality has gone downhill for their pasta. The spaghetti carbonara was really mushy and kind of tasteless. The ravioli was pretty nice although the ravioli version from the previous year was quite a bit better. For $35, I was expecting something of much better quality if they charge those prices per dish. Also, when the waiter told us that they could bring some bread out for us, that bread is not complimentary, it’s $10. You will get better value for your meal at the Olive Garden or Boston pi

I was not expecting such an incredible dining experience. The 2 people I was there with on a Tuesday evening were both food connoisseurs, having dined in fine restaurants around the world, and they were both thoroughly impressed. I’m a small town Saskatchewan meat and potatoes guy and I was loved every dish of the 5 course meal. Not sure what all I ate, but it was all exceptional. Primal was packed by 6:30, even on a Tuesday evening, so I recommend booking a reservation well ahead.
