I’ve got my morning coffee from here. Nothing fancy, just a regular cafe du lait with almond milk. It costed me around 9 with tip. The coffee roast was medium, it did taste slightly better than Tim’s next door. More than the coffee, I felt I’m paying for sitting in this cozy lobby. I wouldn’t mind sitting here for a while although working from this cafe might be another thing. No sufficient spots for plugging in. would I come back? Not sure, might be only when I feel rich enough to splurge 8-10 on a medium latte.

I came here to try the Almond Strawberry Latte and the Prado Breakfast. The latte was fine, interesting flavor with almond milk, but at $7.55 it felt quite overpriced. What really surprised me was the Prado Breakfast. For $15 I got a slice of bread with avocado-pea spread, some arugula, and one poached egg. Very basic both in taste and presentation – honestly, I make better at home. It definitely doesn’t look or feel like one of the most expensive items on the menu. Always the nicest experience in pearl regardless of the location. The gal working the counter was super kind - once I realized she was Japanese I asked if I could try ordering in Japanese to get ready for an upcoming trip. They let me, slowly, order and then even encouraged/provided the answer when I was fumbling. Great drip coffee, the blueberry white chocolate scone was firm on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Such a rad experience. Keep it up team. You have a solid thing going and I appreciate your stuff are kind and positive.

I’ve been enjoying your coffee since my college days, and the quality and consistency have always stood out. One suggestion I’d offer is to reconsider the to-go cups. They feel quite basic, and upgrading them whether in design, material, or overall presentation could better reflect the quality of your coffee and elevate the takeaway experience, especially given the pricing.
