When I first walked in, the decor made me think it was one of those higher-end Hong Kong cafés, so I honestly didn’t expect much from the food. The menu had a lot of options, which usually makes me cautious. I ordered the spicy flat rice noodle with beef and a spicy soup noodle, along with a few other items. Everything was surprisingly good. The noodles were flavorful but not oily or overly salty, and every dish was well balanced. The prices are reasonable, and the free milk tea and coffee are a nice bonus. Avery Cafe Richmond is a pretty restaurant located in Richmond serving up HK style cafe items. Getting here is a bit of a chore since the gas will send you in a big round about way to get through a cul-de-sac to get to the parking lot. The easiest thing is to drive through the car wash parking lot on Garden City before Alderbridge. When we came for breakfast, we had the Chicken Steak combo ($13.95) with half French Toast (+$1.75) and perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and a Cold Lemon Tea (+$1.5). Ordered 4 entrees where 3 were from the all day special menu. All came with a drink but $1.50 extra for medium cold drink or $2 extra for a large size cold drink. The food portions are good size and the food taste good. Overall service was just standard so i only gave 3 stars. I would return to try their breakfast special which is only available to 3pm not all day as advertised.

We had a wonderful dining experience here! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it perfect for a relaxing meal. Every dish we tried was well-prepared and flavorful, but the highlight was definitely the German pork knuckle – crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, absolutely delicious! Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and a pleasant environment.
