Ma and I always talked about stopping in at this place - well, the other day we did! This place is up for sale, and I certainly hope the new owners don't change anything about it. It's exactly what you think it is - It's a pub in the country on an equestrian ranch filled today by locals. We were told that in the summertime this place fills up with people traveling between Golden Ears, and the great outdoors. My first experience was good. They are dog friendly on the patio and the servers were nice and polite. The food is adequate and prices right except for the burger and Cesar salad. Not worth $25! The second time I went was with a large group of they were reluctant to sit us inside and their attitude was very dismissive like we were inconveniencing them. And don’t bother trying to switch fries for sweet potato fries. No substitutions. This is a super small pub that isn’t very busy. We’ve driven by this pub many times and finally decided to stop in after a hike with my parents, who were visiting from out of town. It’s rated 4.2, but unfortunately our experience didn’t reflect that. We ordered four pints and four meals: a burger, a chicken burger, a veggie wrap, and fish and chips.
