The waiting time for our order was around 30 minutes, which was a bit long considering the restaurant wasn’t very busy. The table cover provided wasn’t particularly clean, which gave us a poor first impression. As for the food, it was disappointing. The pepper steak was well below average and lacked flavor. The fish cutlet had a nice crispiness, but the accompanying fried chips were overcooked and so hard we could barely bite into them. Unfortunately, the service didn’t make up for the food quality. The staff seemed indifferent and somewhat impatient, which added to the overall lackluster experience. For the price, we expected better food and more attentive service.

A surprising find deep in the heart of the Haya-hulet area. Mesti Restaurant is a family restaurant that serves delicious foods, both traditional and continental. Tuesday nights are particularly special as a live band plays a jazzy tune reminiscent of a piano bar. This band even has a cellist ... the first I've seen in Addis! Diners can choose to be seated outdoors or indoors. For those seated outdoors, each chair offers a fleece blanket as evenings do get chilly. An absolute gem of a place!

Mixed n matched furniture, patio style backyard seating, living room like inside seating and restaurant type rooms combined make sure you won't ever get bored in this place. Fasting buffet looks wonderful although I didn't eat on the occasion I came here with a group. I'll certainly pay this place a visit one day soon.

Such a lovely place. Great food. The location is more convenient for a personal vehicle users. Tried both fasting and none fasting cousins and both were amazing. They do have a delivery service as well.
