The place seems to be closed. At least, it's not in this location. A few meters before the junction, there is a restaurant called Karibu. I asked the waiters if it was the same place. She mentioned that it moved but she couldn't recognize the place from these pictures. I ordered Pizza. It's actually very nice.

Popular restaurant with tourists in Mekele but saw plenty of locals too. It is a pleasant outdoor restaurant in a large garden with the kitchen counter and wood fired oven ahead of you as you enter. WiFi was patchy for me. There is a cat but few insects around. Service was generally good except for my order (chicken pizza) bring forgotten initially. It is slightly more expensive than other places in the city but still cheap for European standards of course. Chicken with rice and the chicken pizza were both good. Dinner for two came to about 450 birr.

We had a great time here. The service was very attentive. I had a soup as a starter, and my companion was given a small salad at the same time without being asked. The main courses were delicious, and we also got a large fruit salad for two as a gift. The prices were OK... you can definitely eat cheaper elsewhere, but the service and atmosphere were definitely worth it!
