Restaurant Chez Jules

Renting an Airbnb above the restaurant, we see the crowds of people waiting in line to eat at Chez Jules in Antibes and decided to try dinner there one night before we fly home. The service is excellent and food is good/average. The one thing that's stands out about Chez Jules is the presentation of the restaurant. This place gets it. The tablecloths, the napkins, the fresh vegetables on the tables as centerpieces, the bottles of olive oil on each table, etc. it's all very Italian and the South of France and so welcoming. Good job guys! We tried the fried zucchini flowers for our appetize

The food was very good, but the service left room for improvement. Although we spoke English the entire time, the waiter often responded in French. The English menu was also quite incomplete compared to the French version. Great food, but the overall experience could have been better.

A very nice experience. We actually preferred the main courses to the starters, although both were good. The wine was excellent, and the vegetables were very tasty. Everything we tasted was well prepared and full of flavor. The main courses were cooked perfectly, without being overdone, which preserved the quality and taste of the ingredients. We would happily return.

Nice restaurant at a small crossroads. They put fresh vegetables on the table, which is a nice touch. The starter platter is good for one person. The fried calamari is popular and pretty good. You can also try some local Nice style vegetables. The main dish was disappointing😢 I had the gnocchi with beef stew. It was way tooooooo salty and hard to eat. The gnocchi were very soft and mushy. The beef quality was good, but the seasoning ruined it. I ended up just eating bread.
