We had a wonderful lunch at L’ô à la bouche. The food is best described as local french cuisine with interesting twists on execution or flavour profile. We were welcomed warmly by the staff which was doing an effort to speak English with us explaining us the details of the menu. The food was extraordinarily fresh and well prepared.

Really nice restaurant, first night in besancon and had no reservation but that was no problem. Got great help from the servers when I tried to speak som french. Good recommendations with the wines for both courses. 42 euros which is a really good deal for 2 glassen of wine and 2 courses.

I was in Becenson while this city was on holiday, not many places were open for dinner, this one was oh and what a pleasure. Food is exceptionally good served very nice, however, in a slow frech typical pace. My colleagues and I loved every bit of food served to us. Recommended!!!
