I had one of the greatest meals I’ve ever had in this restaurant. Part of that was to do with the company however I was astonished when I ordered a glass of wine and discovered that it came from a bottle that has been produced in 1988 and was nearly 40 years old. We had lovely food and mainly good service here . Beautiful asparagus with excellent hollandaise. My sole Meunière was excellent . BUT I was very upset that my allergy was not taken seriously. I was nearly given a soup containing alcohol . I very clearly stated this would make me ill . The waiter was very sloppy about this and did not take it seriously . This situation should never happen and should be addressed immediately . What a shame for this to happen in a very good restaurant .
