During our honeymoon, we were on our way from Apremont to Chinon and had lunch in this charming little restaurant. Both the meals and the presentation were excellent! We were served by the chef, Alexandre, who would kindly explain his creations to us. It was also very nice to have an interesting conversation with him after the lunch. We will certainly revisit Ici Chef next time we are in the area. Overall, highly recommended!

Walked 10 minutes from city center to get here and WELL WORTH IT! Delicious burgers and home made fries...I had the veggie burger which I tend not to have in restaurants because its usually processed from a pack but not here it was home made lentils burger very delicious! The chef even came to have a chat with us which was lovely!

This is a great restaurant with a great chef. All the dishes were unique and tasty. Our kids, who are usually picky eaters, really enjoyed the crispy chicken and hamburger. We had grilled octopus, beef Parmentier, and chocolate mousse for dessert—everything was delicious! The staff was friendly and accommodating. We definitely want to visit again, and it's well worth the extra drive.

Great qualilty food, and pleasant atmosphere. We ate next to the kitchen and had the opportunity to get to know the chef. We wil be back. The only thing is the bright white lighting, some warmer bulbs would do wonders.
