This restaurant was a highlight of my trip. French cuisine can look a bit intimidating to foreigners, due to the ingredients that are used, but those who dare to give it a shot are in the right place here. Atmosphere is great, staff is very friendly, even if you french is a bit lacking. We got a complimentary entrée which set the tone for the rest to come, all things wonderfully prepared in a balanced way. Such a nice and cozy place a bit off the beaten path. The food was definitely one of the best we've had in all of Alsace. Creative, delicious, and very adequately priced. Wine pairing suggestions from the host were on point. Service was a tad slow, but overall worked well between aperitifs/starters, entrees and desserts. Would definitely recommend and will come back again for the different menu!

I first dined at this restaurant in 2018 with a friend when I visited the town. Ever since then, I’ve always thought about coming back whenever I return. In 2023, I finally managed to revisit the restaurant. Fortunately, we made a reservation a week in advance, as it’s quite popular and often fully booked.
