John Clarke★★★★★Excellent little restaurant in the centre of Pau that serves dinner until around 9pm. Free wifi was available and the meal was delicious. It was the end of September, but I was comfortable eating outside as I had my dog with me. My meal consisted of a glass of the local beer followed by Magret de Canard with chips and a small salad and a half bottle of Madiran. I finished off with a coffee. The magret was cooked to perfection (a point) and the meal was unhurried as I watched people pass by. Te toilets are clean and the owner is charming. All in all excellent value at €36.10 after a hard
