Cute no frills restaurant ran by a really friendly woman. We went in the middle of the afternoon so the menu ran out of a couple things but what they did have was delicious. Flavorful beef dumplings in a tangy yogurt and herb sauce w fried chickpeas. The afghan soup is comforting and cumin forward. Sambusas freshly fried.

We passed this restaurant in a taxi and made a special effort to make a note of where it was. We are there last night and it was stupendous. It’s a basic place inside but the service was incredibly warm and kind. They went to extra lengths to accommodate me as a vegetarian and I had just as good a meal as the meat eaters. Our plates were cleaned of every grain of rice and we left with big smiles. Absolutely fantastic 💜I’ll return someday!
