Amazing place! I Stopped here just before getting a cab to the airport and I was very pleased with this being my last super. The place, food and service were all fantastic. I came here on my own- not speaking much french and I was made to feel very welcome. Asked to have the recommendation and it was really good. Authentic Marseille cuisine at very good prices. Phenomenal french food! Highly recommended if you are walking around the Old Port. English was a little challenging, but one of the restaurant's regulars came to help translate. Definitely a local place if you are looking for that experience and make sure you try the local drink pastis (anise flavored).

Enjoyed a very tasty lunch at Le Protis today. Food delicious, staff friendly and helpful, location good. We both had the dish of the day which was Daube Provencal (stewed beef on tagliatelle).
