The waiter advised me not to order too much rice when I over ordered which, he could have ignored to make the bill higher but he didn't. Honesty and integrity 👏. As British people living in France we miss Indian cuisine. This restaurant is a great find. The food was authentic and delicious. Very friendly staff. We visited with friends on Friday night and there were no other customers. Therefore the restaurant was quiet and lacked a little atmosphere.

Just enjoyed a wonderful meal at the India Gate. It is one of the best Indian meals that I have ever eaten, (and I have had a lot of curries back in England). The Indian Gate menu was exquisite. Fantastic food, great service, I heartily recommend this restaurant.

The food was wonderful! The service was great and there is even air conditioning in the restaurant. We ordered the chicken tikka masala which was amazing. Would definitely come back next time we’re in Montebaun.
