We stayed in Nimes for a few weeks and Balthazar was our go to place for lunch in the sun! Excellent food, we tried a number of the items on the menu, and Naömi was our regular server always very friendly and ready to find the best spot! Only problem is that often the dish of the day was finished when we arrived, so coming sooner rather than later is recommended!

Vegan review: We visited here on a whim. We just wanted a coffee and some chips but we had to order food to be able to sit at a table so we got some of the avocado on toast. The lady serving us was really helpful, and once she understood we were vegan brought us a fantastic meal with salads and pomegranate on top of the avocado. It was incredibly good and totally worth it. The only downside is that it is so cramped with not much space between the tables but it was winter and they are obviously maximising the space indoors. Come the summer sat outside it would be perfect.
