We were late making reservations and ended up here because the ratings were good. Unfortunately it was really disappointing. The interior was a bit sober. The food was very disappointing. Tempura asparagus with shrimp.. nice try but the one little battered shrimp felt a bit sad on the plate. The main dishes were accompanied by fries which were soaked with oil, limp fries, you should not have served those. The steak was cooked well but could be accompanied by some vegetables instead of only fries. The host was friendly and clearly tried his best but the kitchen needs to improve.

We had an excellent time and experience in this restaurant. Really good cocktails to start off with. Then an amuse-bouche of velouté of sweet peas that was really good. For starters, we tried the escargot provençal and shrimp porcini dish. I would have never thought porcini and a perfectly seared shrimp with be such a wonderful combination! For mains, we tried the truffle flavored ravioli served with serano ham (great combination) and the Christmas burger ( with duck confit, foie gras, porcini tapenade)! Our tastes buds were in heaven! Arrived in Reims after a few days in Paris, made this reservation before leaving the states to make the transition smooth. So glad we stayed with this plan! Walked over from the Continental and despite the quiet neighborhood and understated building the entire experience was 5 stars!!
