This place deserves a better rating! It’s conveniently located near Place Kleber, yet the prices are super affordable. The atmosphere is charmingly authentic since most of the guests were local. The menu is small, but with great choices. We had the cordon blue and turkey fillet and both were lovely, as well as the desserts!

Service was quite cold and not something that you can rate as polite. Not even a fake smile by the waitress who served us. Ordered portion of chicken nuggets for kids - well burnt in the quite old and multiple reused oil. Looks like same oil was used for my cordon blue which was one of the worse I tried... Flamm kuchen was good. As we just step by for a quick lunch we didn't return the dish as I we had no time to wait another one. Also, as they were fine to serve this, we would not expect anything better after complaint. Location is nice though.

I arrived at eight in the evening Thursday. The restaurant was still full of people who were just leaving. I asked if I could have a table for one. Even though the entire dining room soon became empty, they gave me a seat facing the wall, saying that all the other tables were reserved. Yet during the twenty-five minutes I spent eating before I left, the restaurant remained empty — except for one table that had been occupied from the very beginning. When you come alone, this “view of the wall” feels like a punishment — because there’s no one to talk to, and you’re forced to stare into the voi
