Great location for people watching in the center of town. Service was snappy and the server even spoke a little English. Cold beer and a good draft selection. Tourist prices, but worth a visit. The duck salad and fish and chips were generous portions and pretty tasty, although the fries were limp.

The Cardinal has now become a family favorite for us and as a mixed couple we felt very welcome, they will serve promptly in both French and English and are very friendly. Always easy going and high quality service, I will personally recommend the beef tartare, toulouse sausage and the 1 Litre Red Beer !!

The place was packed outside, inside was spacious comfortable.had a drink and some coffee on this rainy covid sunday.The pace had a relaxing atmosphere, the waitstaff Mikael was great and attentive.. Everything was home made including the mousse aux chocolate and the salade de fruits.. good place will return..
