The place is decent, especially considering there aren’t many great alternatives in the center of Aachen. You can share a plate for two: it comes with plenty of potato wedges, a small portion of greens, three small sausages, one large sausage, one lamb sausage (which was quite dry), and half a currywurst. We waited almost an hour, so keep that in mind if you see a long line, it might not be worth it. Personally, I’d consider another spot if the wait is too long. Very delicious sausages, in the center of Aachen. Many different options are possible like beef or vegan. Coming here for years, definitely worths a try! Last time I visited, inside the restaurant was very smokey and needed some fresh air circulation, I hope that is a temporary problem.

HANSnurnberg was a delicious feast! The slight sweetness of the sauerkraut and mustard were balanced by the savory sausage and wisp of horseradish. The beer was a great complement. Comfortable atmosphere for a solo traveler.

In town from USA and had a wonderful meal here. Wait staff was friendly and helpful and food was superb. I had the Krakauer with sauerkraut and potato wedges. Adding a large beer came to about 20 euro. Was excellent in every way.
