Together with my little girl, we stayed in Waldhotel for 1 night and enjoyed the dinner in the restaurant. Family atmosphere, comfortable bed, really delicious foods with super nice services from both hotel and restaurant, and easy parking. It is just walking distance to Explorhino. We would love to back and enjoy dinner again. Already recommended to our friends.

The rooms are simple, but very clean and quiet. The service is friendly / helpful and the check-in and check-out was easy. The hidden gem here is the amazing restaurant! The food and the breakfast were delicious and highly recommended, whether you have a chance to stay at the hotel or not. I would definitely return to stay at the Waldhotel Eichenhof.

Very pretty hotel. Check-in through the bar area rather than a reception desk. Not exactly a warm and fuzzy feeling to the hotel, but not an unfriendly one either. The room was large, and there was a couch to sit on beside the bed. Nice. The bed was a single frame housing two twin mattresses with separate sheets. And of course, I would up sleeping in the crevasse between the two mattresses. Not totally uncomfortable, but not totally great either. Something really cool: there was a picture on the wall.
