Without a doubt, the best place I found in Dortmund. It’s simple, authentic, and incredibly welcoming, with a nostalgic atmosphere that is hard to find nowadays. Great place, very cosy. This is a authentic pub for this area. The bartender are friendly, the beer is tasty and the place is cozy. So what else do you need? Food? If they don't serve any at that day you can bring or order from outside.

We traveled from Los Angeles to Dortmund in May. As old school BVB fans we popped into The Mailbox. The staff including Uli and the regulars were so cool. Loved the Kronen, Kramer and Bacardi Cokes! We felt at home and plan on returning. Echte Liebe!
