Definitely this is "the place" to go in Erlangen - perfect traditional German food. You know it will be delicious when they have few dishes on menu - hard to choose between duck and pork shoulder. Pork loin is perfect too, but more general than german. Warm atmosphere is like in family grandma's house 🤩

Awesome Franconian meals, best Schäufele in the region! Vegetarian meals are limited in choice (but not always the same) and are good and interesting, but not overwhelming. They have a decent variety of beers on tap. Staff is super friendly and the decor is very fitting for a traditional Franconian place.
