I usually enjoy the place and the food as a returning customer, but today after ordering pizza(that is what I usually order), I ate from it and the quality was less of a frozen pizza, noting home made about it. I communicated to to the service how I feel and she answered me I will let the kitchen know. No one came to apologize or to talk to us, I have attempted to talk to another waitress and she asked me if I want another pizza, I said no thank you and that was it. I ate dinner here at my last day on vacation here in Essen. The ambiance looks warm and comfortable. The food was delicious and had big portions. I especially loved the garlic aioli that came with the fries. Also, the staff was nice and at was fairly quick to fulfill my order but after, I had to wait for more than 30 mins to get the dessert I ordered. It was fairly busy so I just kinda understood why it took so long. I was also hoping they would offer me a bag for my takeout order since I had a few boxes but I don't know if I should have asked for it instead. Overall a fairly good experience.
