Very humorous and atmospheric place, spoiler alert: Lots of potatoes! :D Food was served very nicely but was a miss for me, but I'm generally disliking anyways with the German cuisine. We ate a kangaroo steak as well which was actually pretty nice. Definitely try any food containing their potatoes, they know how to serve that stuff, who woulda thought! Kinda museum vibes inside as well, you learn some about potatoes :D

A lot of the comments here are from people who showed up expecting to be seated when in fact it is a popular restaurant and like many popular restaurants, you need to make a reservation if you want to be guaranteed a seat! After a couple of rejections, on the 3rd try going a little early with a small party we got a table. The decor and atmosphere is very rustic German with waitresses wearing traditional dress and what not. I can speak a bit of German, but luckily our waitress had good English so there were no misunderstandings. Food was delicious and plentiful, meat and potatoes and cooked veg

Everything was very nice and the waitress was very helpful to us. we didn't have to wait much. the service was very fast. The only issue that I felt is that the inside space was a bit cramped. Food is also very nice.
