I have been there during different trips to Halle. It is a local restaurant with nice staff and good food. And the area is quite and it is near to city center. Unfortunately their English is not very good but they have English menu. So you may need some help for translation.

Extensive menu with a wide selection of local dishes. Very friendly service. Around Christmas time, the restaurant is often booked months in advance for Christmas parties. Ours took place at lunchtime, and the dishes we chose, from venison goulash and braised ox cheeks to Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) and Dompfaffschnitzel (a type of schnitzel), were very well received. The dishes were also attractively presented. We felt completely at ease and were very satisfied.
