1 level below the street, just 1 level above the tram. Cash only. Menu changes. Husband and wife speak little English but just enough to tell you what's on the menu. They open the shop for coffee and snacks but Lunch begins around 11-12 Food was incredible. Was like a home-cooked meal, very traditional german cuisine.

Amazing place! Cash only, near right by the subway entrance. Such kind hosts, and just really amazing tasting central European everyday food! Least pretentious place I've been, but still loved it! No English menu, but great help from the hosts!

The home cooked food here is really underrated! One of the best meals we had at Hamburg! It’s located at the train station so go down from the Europa Passage escalator to reach this place. Owner is friendly and they will guide you in what to order even though they have limited English vocabulary. A must visit if you’re after authentic German home cooked food.
