Wonderful little tavern and restaurant in the heart of Hameln. I ate here the last full day in Hameln, and it was my last meal too. Omg the steak I had here for 20€ hands down beat the 80-90@£ steak I had at Gordon Ramsay's 5 star restaurant in London. The beef was better. The service was better. The steak was prepared better. I'd eat here again unlike the former. Edit: December 2023 - I heard from my friend in Hameln that the owner of this establishment died. A regular meeting place for the senior members of the Hameln Karate club. A good selection on the menu. Very good portions, the steak was exactly as requested. You need a good appetite to polish the lot off, a couple of beers from the keg does help of course. Prices not overly expensive. An efficient, quiet service. Very traditional in layout. Parking, right outside. Not many of this style left in Hameln! New visit 24.09.22. yummy meal,gone up on a bi it but worth it.
