We went there as this café / confectionery was advertized in one of the tv documentaries about Heidelberg. On a Saturday afternoon we were lucky to find a free table for 4 persons without a reservation. We were seated next to the entrance / window and therefore had some daylight. The café is huge! The cakes (e.g. Linzer Torte, Käsestreuselkuchen, Apfelkuchen, Sandkuchen) were all tasty and they also sell very beautifully looking handmade chocolate sweets. If you're looking for a special gift, then you will for sure find something in their shop. It is of course not cheap but a special place I c
