We were staying at the SAKS hotel, and I always love the convenience of a restaurant in a hotel. I loved the ambience and service. It was super cozy (gemütlich). The food was excellent. We ate there twice. Also they had a gluten free option for dessert: chocolate mousse.

Inside the lobby of the SAKS hotel. It was very nice inside. The signature dish was delicious. Service good and prompt. The menu looks very tempting, so I will definitely give it another try soon.

What a disastrous service experience. Starting with a snarling comment, because we had the audacity to take our beers from the bar to the restaurant.... INSIDE THE SAME HOTEL and one next to the other. Service was incredibly slow, even though the place was not even 25% occupied... Also I NEVER saw any place in the world that CHARGES 2€ for each change to your order, e.g. if you want a different sauce 2€, fries instead of potatoes? Another 2€!!!! Great food. One of the top schnitzel I have in Kaiserslautern. Newly set up though I think they are leaning. Give them time, I plan to go back to see.
