Checking how manageable restaurant food actually is if you’re trying to control salt. 🟢 = good control 🟡 = partial control 🔴 = little to no control Menu: 🟡 I didn’t get a chance to properly review the menu, so it’s hard to judge. Nothing specifically pointed to low-salt options, but this was also more of a coffee and dessert stop than a full meal. Reaction: 🟢 A very positive experience. One staff member initially assumed the desserts contained no salt, but another immediately stopped, checked with the kitchen, and made sure we got an accurate answer. Wonderful new cafe with outdoor seating and everything „to go.“ I was so happy to see that they have vegan milk and even delicious vegan cake/desserts. The coffee is super delicious- with a strong special aroma. They have vegan food as well. The staff is always super friendly! It’s open on Sunday’s which is so awesome.

Cute little cafe, with large and delicious breakfast selection, in the middle of Mainzer Neustadt. The Kaffe is nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly. I especially liked the cold coffee, which is ideal for summer.
