Beautiful restaurant hidden in the old streets of Mainz! We came without reservations for Sunday lunch and had no problem securing a seat. The waitress was very proactive and brought us English menus by just observing us talking - very attentive and customer oriented service. Throughout the 3 hours we spent here she was pleasant, friendly, talkative, and explanatory and we felt like we were taken care of the whole time! Atmosphere on point. It’s got a very nice and beautiful tree in the middle of the patio! Food was amazing! Wiped out the entire plate. Service was great! Popped in for dinner on a busy evening. The waitress managed to get us a table as there were some people leaving. The food is traditionally German. The portions were large and the food tasted delicious. Service was excellent our waitress was attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a meal in Mainz.
