I had an absolutely marvellous meal at this gem of a restaurant. While most places around major attractions or transport hubs can be mediocre at best, this place outside the main Koblenz train station is worth every penny. The staff are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to help, whereas the speed at which the food comes out is incredible - you almost have to finish faster to avoid the next course becoming cold. The garlic bread was a nice starter but the grill plate was phenomenal - three tender pieces of meat, all grilled to perfection and were absolutely delicious when combined

Ate here one evening in 2019, so we had to stop again when we were near Koblenz on our most recent trip. It didn’t disappoint. Stopped in for lunch and got the lunch special which included bowls of soup. The schnitzel is thin, light and perfectly prepared. Some of the best I’ve ever found. Worth a stop anytime we’re near Koblenz.

Damn fine traditional German food. Great atmosphere, full of people chatting and eating. I tend to go for the schnitzel and a beer. Everything here is awesome. Minor note for improvement would be not having 'sittings', but I understand it is seriously busy. I would also add some extra bacon into the jaeger sauce and bratkatoflen. It's a great venue all round tho.
