Went there for the first time. Had a table reserved which was smart since they are super popular, especially on sunny weekends/bank holidays. The place was very crowded and so the service was challenged. They were friendly anyhow and did their best under the circumstances. We had a lovely afternoon in the sun sitting by the water. Our food (Königsberger Klöße und Ochsbäckchen) was well prepared and tasty. Nothing for a big man hunger, I’m afraid but fine for us. My friend had a cheesecake for dessert and was happy while I enjoyed my second Veltliner even more than the first. We’ll come back!

The Mutter Lustig is my favorite place in Köpenick. The food is simply amazing - you feel that the chef is very passionate about his job. He and his team show off their brilliant skills which is a feast for the eyes. The menu is small but changes on a regular basis. You will always find something new and very delicious on there. I go there at least once a week and bring different friends with me - they love it too. The service is super nice as well and especially Diana is always showing a captivating smile. Recommendation! Thumbs up :-)
