Clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast. I had a single room, which was the typical German single room with a single bed pushed against the wall. For the price perfectly fine! There restaurant is nice, the staff friendly. It'll be my choice to stay, when I'm back in Meden.

I was there on Saturday with a group of eight people. The person who organized the group had already been there on Friday with twelve people. On both days, the groups were practically the only customers. And those who only wanted drinks were very rudely told that if they didn't order anything, they would have to pay €12. That amounted to four people in total over both days. They did order drinks, though, and with two or three drinks, that adds up. Restaurants have to make a living, but it's the way they're treated that matters, and if we hadn't been there, the restaurant would have been empty.

We spontaneously went there for dinner on Friday evening, and the staff was incredibly friendly—really very friendly. The food was delicious and, most importantly, plentiful. My partner especially loved the grilled vegetables. For dessert, we shared the apple strudel. Highly recommended. The restaurant is a blend of modern and classic rustic. Even though almost every table was occupied, we were still able to have a good conversation. The restrooms are in the basement and very clean. I'll definitely be back (at Christmas at the latest).
