Native Germany food, but too long wait! German not hurry! About food. Meat is very good, potatoes not well cooked, I think. Beer also middle class. For first time it'll be great, for four stars exactly) After supper we had a nice compliment from bar, Knolle drink. That was great and very surprising. Try it if you'll be in Minden!

Wonderful and cozy restaurant with everything that involves potatoes. The menu is huge and so are the portions. We we’re warmly welcomed by a girl who’s English wasn’t good, but our German isn’t either, but we all tried our best! We ordered Reibekuchen (potato fritter) with chicken and pork, which came with a big salad. It was very tasty. So: a good meal, nice place and nice people makes a perfect evening!

On a Tuesday night we went with a large group to the Knolle. The Knolle is a typical “German Wirtshaus” restaurant. Local beer and German food such as Schnitzel and hearty food in general dominate the menu. The beer and wine is highly recommended as well. The portion size is very good, you can easily feed even hungry teenagers here. An also the taste is brilliant. I can’t wait to visit this place in the future.
