Where do I begin. We Googled greek restaurants and Taverna Phaestos popped up. So we decided to try the place out. A very modern restaurant was presented to us on our arrival. The food is out of this world and I'd go as far to say, it was the best meal I've ever had. The service was second to none and I'd wish I'd got the hosts name as he made us feel so welcome. An absolute gem of a place. Which I'd highly recommend. It was that good. We booked again tomorrow. A must!!!!

Arrived with no pre-booking and were given a table no problem. Amazing authentic Greek food and the portion sizes were fantastic. When we received the bill we couldn’t believe the great value for what we ate and drank. Lovely little gem hidden in Berlin for those that love authentic Greek cuisine.

I have great passion for the Greek cuisines and have tried at different restaurants after viewing the Google maps reviews. But this place was a heart breaking experience. I ordered their specialty dish with fresh lamb shank recommended by the waiter and costs 18.90 Euro. Aesthetically they dish look great but it tastes so bad. It has an bad oily flavour(probably old ingredients). The funny thing is that, their was no lamb shank instead few (3) small pieces of lamb that does not even taste fresh. It only got large pieces of potatoes and vegetables. They whole dish probably cost them 3 Euro to p
