We celebrated our wedding at the Waldschenke on April 30, 2025. The food was perfect, especially the appetizer platters, which our guests praised highly. The owner and his very friendly staff arranged the tables beautifully, fulfilling every request. The ambiance is gorgeous and perfect for photos with the forest view. The owner is very flexible, reliably takes care of everything, and even pitches in himself when needed. The restrooms were clean all day, and the restaurant and grounds were very well-maintained. We were there today, May 29th, unfortunately in bad weather, so we had reserved a table, which was a good thing, as it was quite busy. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table. Drinks arrived promptly, the appetizers were served quickly, and after we had finished eating, we were asked if we would like our main course brought right away. The dishes were delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant. The staff is friendly; it's a shame the weather wasn't so nice, otherwise we could have sat in the lovely beer garden.
