I am very sad to write this review… two years ago we were so impressed with this restaurant. It was one of the best bistecca fiorentina in town. I used to recommend it all over. Unfortunately two years later it has changed a lot. The food was an absolute disappointment. Tiny portions, the white pasta ragout was basically minced meat with noodles. No other taste whatsoever. The gnocchi- small pieces drowned in Romano sauce and that was it. The bistecca was tiny, no crust, no taste. This place is not your regular Italian. It specializes in Tuscan food and the platters are amazing. I've never tasted such good salami and Focaccia. I would go just for lunch with starters and the SCHIACCIATE! The 'main' courses of fresh pasta are good but a little bland and to be honest over priced and not that special. I've had much better pasta. We ate outside and rhe service was excellent, very friendly waiter and prompt. It’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. The Italian dishes are just like in Italy 😊 Fresh handmade pasta, lasagna that’s hot and flavorful — exactly as it should be! The small courtyard under the trees feels quite cozy, despite the ongoing construction nearby, which is screened off with charming decorative panels. It’s also a great spot to stop by in summer, even just for an aperitif.

The place is quite unusual and has a nice atmosphere. The waitstaff are friendly, and the food is different from other Italian restaurants I’ve been to. In my opinion, everyone should give it a try. I ordered the shrimp pasta — the portion wasn’t large, but it was enough for me; it might be a bit small for a man. As for the prices, it’s not cheap, but it’s worth it.
