Isla is the original good coffee place in Schillerkiez/Neukölln. Over the years, the staff have changed but the quality of coffee making has never dipped. It is still the best place as far as craft goes. Lastly, the folks who work there are an international bunch and also the friendliest in Berlin. Oh... and now they have a fancy awning too!

One of the best coffees in Berlin and a nice selection of alternating dishes. They always have unique option with tasty flavors— but I do miss the shredded mushroom dish. For now the savory pastries, sauce for the seasonal veggies, and friendly employees are my favorites.
