Nice venue with excellent service and meals. Both vegetarian and classic dishes were very tasty. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The food was delicious, and the wine selection was excellent. Overall, the place captures a bit of that special Berlin spirit from the post-reunification years and early 2000s — relaxed, authentic, and full of charm, with high-quality food at fair prices. Props to the space and the design. Overall aesthetic is just so cool featuring an open kitchen with an industrial vibe and an old school washing sink in the middle of the restaurant. I can’t rave enough about the creativity behind the design of the space. There are even hand sown linen hanging from a laundry line. The details are truly exemplary. The staff was absolutely lovely and the vibe is very cool but to my taste the food was very bland and not good. We were 3 people but only one of us ate all the dishes. None of us felt the food was worth the price. Also unfortunately the open kitchen paired poorly with the fish and seafood on the menu so the very first thing you noticed coming in was the strong smell.
