I was walking around the centrum when I came upon Gianni's. It has a great view of the square. I ordered the octopus salad and tagliatelle with beef and mushrooms, and everything was tasty and fresh. The server, Tony, was very kind and helpful, answering my questions about the dishes and making recommendations for the wine. He speaks excellent English and it was nice to have someone translate the specials for me, as my German language skills are not great.

We where group of four dining one evening and the female vaiter made us feeling like she was doing us a favor by serving us. No smile and no warmth in a flat environment. Three out of four dinners where good but the forth was not. When our friend shared the fact with the waiter that she could not eat it since it was not good, the reply she got was, you still need to pay for it and do you want me to pack it in. Nobody said they where sorry of tried to understand the customer experience. Due to the “non reaction” From the vaiter we cannot reccomend this restaurant.
