I came here a few times when I was on an extended work trip in Nuremberg. It is a great spot near the tourist sites serving good food. Nuremberg sausages were tasty anywhere I ate them. These were presented nicely with a tasty sauerkraut and potato salad. The Shäufele had a very crispy and crackling skin. Served with a very soft and chewy dumpling on the side. I visited Nuremberg city for one night and I planned to eat a German food so I came to this restaurant based on the recommendations. I tried the asparagus soup as a starter, then I ordered the grilled duck with the red cabbage. The food was really good, fresh and well cooked. The design of the place is really great and reflects the German traditions. The staff is helpful and friendly and I was lucky to be served by Emily, she was really good waiter. It is absolutely a recommended restaurant for visitors to Nuremberg city

Perfect for a group to experience Franconian food! Four of us arrived here to taste the iconic dishes of pork knuckles, Schaufele, and the Nuremberg sausage. The pork knuckles were a bit overcooked, but the other two are totally delicious. Great pairing with the red draft beer and the lemonade beer for the ladies!

This was named the best restaurant in Nuremberg when I looked it up. It a nice cozy place with good service, good food and great beer. I got the schnitzel and it was super crispy and delicious and I enjoyed it with a great beer.
