This review is for the restaurant only. The waiter was a bit startled that we spoke English but the owner stepped in and gave us a menu in English and was very attentive. The waiter then provided us with information about the meals and recommended the mushroom sauce with chicken, which was delicious. Overall a very pleasant experience. The restaurant is very clean and warm.

The rating is only for the restaurant. Food: 5/5 - wholesome food that is fresh and tasty. Ordered the cordon bleu schnitzel with salad & harrissa schnitzel with pan fried potatoes. You have a choice of side with the schnitzel entrees. All their schnitzels are turkey meat. Their other menu items include roasted chicken. Service: 5/5 - our server was helpful in speaking English. Atmosphere: 5/5 a nice clean place with a homey feel. There’s a hotel next to the restaurant

We really enjoyed staying at the hotel. It is close by the train station. Tourism objects and more option of restaurants are in walking distance. The receptionists were very helpful and polite. The room was clean. We would love to stay again for our next visit in Passau.
