This was an extraordinary meal. Even more remarkable because we didn’t plan it and we were surprisingly able to get a last minute reservation. Every dish was beautiful, layered, delicious. The decor is simple and elegant. Wonderful staff. Excellent interesting wines. Next time we are in Germany we will make a special trip to Potsdam just to eat here. Don’t miss the lobster bisque add on, it is incredible.

Kochzimmer in Potsdam was one of the last Michelin Star Restsurants we hadn‘t visited yet in and around Berlin. However, the overdue dinner yesterday left us with mixed feelings. First the good stuff. The cooking is technically outstanding. Service at the table is good. Price / Quality is also excellent. 5 course, incl. wine for 155 EUR pp. What wasn‘t up to expected standard: When entering, you pass through a narrow corridor that smells quite intensively of the kitchen. It was my first visit in a restaurant of this caliber and I had very good time. Service was top of the top, they made us feel taken care of and very relaxed. We thought it will be a bit uptight, but it wasn't at all! Beautiful, calm place, with the greatest service in Potsdam and food...it was too good! Beautiful presentation and taste like heaven! Someone wrote on trip advisor that if you still have not been there, you should go before they get a M star and you won't get a table so quick! I agree!
