Went there on a Sunday with perfect weather, the place was packed. Took a long time to get your coffee or food served. Staff was nice and tried their best. Coffee tasted great, the juices too. Food itself was ok. For my like the pancakes were far too sweet (*since the dough itself seems to be sweetened, plus the sweet toppings or creams). Our avocado bread was lovely. The chicken was ok too, not as crispy as hoped but tender.

The mushrooms on top of the bread were so juicy, and the whole thing was delicious. I highly recommend this dessert! Tbh I’m not sure what it’s called, but it had such a nicely balanced flavor with the milk and nuts. And it wasn’t overly sweet, so you can really taste the natural flavors.

While exploring Mitte, my wife and I came across a brunch spot on Google Maps called Love at First Bite. Honestly, we chose it because of the name and a few photos posted by the owners. It’s surprising there aren’t more guest photo reviews — pictures truly help travelers decide where to try something new. Reviews can absolutely elevate a great place. Amazing coffee, spicy chai, and a killer brunch 🥞☕️🔥 We really enjoyed this breakfast spot. The chai latte was excellent — tasty, fragrant, with a nice punch of spice. The cappuccino also felt really original; it genuinely tastes like they brew/roast their own coffee. Food-wise, the Nashville Chicken Hot Sandwich was a banger: super juicy inside, with cabbage and pickles adding a bit of freshness. My partner had the Eggs Benedict with salmon — they smoke their own salmon, and it was very good, perfectly cooked. We finished with the “Love Story” pancakes, and they were really tasty too. J
