Wow. This was an absolute diamond find, from service, immaculate food quality to ambience. With all due respect we were not expecting anything sensational, but what a surprise from the moment we arrived. We ordered the Schwäbischer Zwiebelrostbraten (grilled Swabian rump steak) with spaetzle and salad. It was incredible. Fresh, grilled to perfection, juicy, tender and full of flavour - quite easily the best cut of steak i have had in a very long time. If you are looking for a terrace with a quiet setting right in Sindelfingen, then the Schwarzwald Vereinsheim is for you. Had a great lunch - leberkäse and pork filet. Excellent, friendly service. Their Swabian cuisine is honest, fresh and tasty. Near the Sindelfingen hospital, this place has free parking. You follow the sign to the Vereinsheim and you'll drive a little way along a paved forest road.

Great food; Goose, Maultaschen (a German noodle stuffed with meat and herbs..a southern German speciality) and various schnitzel offerings. The restaurant is located in a forest and we had dinner here on a night after a fresh snow.
